WHO are we?

We are a non-profit committed to forming local alliances to empower our community through regenerative farming.

We believe that both desertification, and food and water insecurity can be solved through sound ecological design and holistic resource management.

OUR INSPIRATION

Masanobu Fukuoka, a Japanese farmer and philosopher

"The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings."

We have currently established two demonstration sites in the Western Mojave to showcase what is possible, and educate others on the benefits of restoration agriculture.

Join us in our efforts to build a healthy and regenerative future for all.

Get to Know Him

Roy grew up in Helendale, CA. After graduating from high school in Oro Grande, he went to school in Boston, MA to study Jazz Guitar. Ultimately, he dropped out and started playing and hosting concerts with a group of his friends. Then, the pandemic happened, and he decided to start a garden. The more he learned about plants and farming, the more he became obsessed. From there, he worked on farms in Oregon, Colorado, and even the Virgin Islands. He immersed himself in studying and experiencing natural farming, and felt a calling to bring these regenerative practices back home, to his family, and to his community in the desert which he loved. In 2023, Roy bought 5 acres of land in his hometown to utilize as a working land laboratory to experiment and innovate upon everything he had learned. Roy is a passionate individual dedicated to creating a regenerative future. He brings a diverse range of skills and expertise to every project & hopes to cultivate the minds & hearts of his community.
